**In March 2025, I joined Karman Space Programme - a student-led club at Imperial College London that designs and builds high-altitude rockets.** The club has a long history of success, and has won multiple awards for their rockets and payloads.

In my time working there as a Hardware Avionics Engineer, I worked closely with our STM-32 based flight computer to design subsystems for GPS, Communications, Power management and Parachute Deployment.

This involved making many custom PCBs and solving difficult problems with current and voltage requirements, as well as designing and testing parachute deployment mechanisms that would work reliably at high altitudes and speeds.

I also enjoyed testing valves with Liquid Nitrogen, and performing cold flow tests of our propulsion system.

It was an amazing experience to work on such a complex and challenging project, and to see our designs come to life. I'm really proud of the work we did, and I'm excited to see what the future holds for Karman Space Programme!

**Dylan left Karman Space Programme in January 2026 to focus on other projects.** This is all he can share publicly without disclosing IP/Proprietary Technologies.
