TechSummit 2025

We organised the UK's Largest Student-run Tech Fair.

As Head of Events for KCL Tech, I led the organisation of TechSummit on 25th October 2025. The event brought together the entire tech community at King's College London for a day of learning, networking, and discovery.

The scale was impressive: 1200 signups with approximately 800 attendees on the day, and 10+ industry-leading sponsors including ARM, Adobe, JetBrains, and Notion. Their support enabled us to create a world-class experience for students.

The day featured three major fairs: career, academia, and student societies, alongside 11 panels and workshops covering everything students needed to launch their tech careers. It was an unforgettable celebration of technology, innovation, and opportunity.

Our society fair included student groups from across 8 Unis in London and the South-East, including ICRS, DocSoC, SouthHamption EECS, KCL Robotics and many more.

Our Academia fair showcased the cutting-edge research happening in Computer Science at King's, with 12+ researchers presenting their work and engaging with students.

The Career fair featured industry-leading companies, providing students with invaluable insights and opportunities to connect with potential employers.

Workshops included FAQ with ARM employees, a careers workshop with Adobe and a Jetbrains panel on prompt engineering.

Takeaways

This was a great experience, and I had a lot of fun working with the team to put this event together. It also gave me considerable experience in both event management and outreach to gain sponsorships

With thanks to the team at KCL Tech, and our marketing partners over at the UAL CES Society
